The Wolf Creek Foundation sponsors activities and events to enrich and strengthen the quality of life in our community, particularly for military members and their families.
The Foundation's primary mission is hosting weekend retreats for military families that have a parent either about to deploy or just returning from deployment. This fall will mark the 40th retreat to take place in the Ogden Valley.
Through a partnership with Hill Air Force Base, the Foundation sponsors these retreats twice a year, where military families relax, connect, and develop skills that help the entire
family cope with deployments. At these retreats each child receives a bear with a recording of their deploying parent's voice. While the parent is overseas the child can squeeze the bear's paw and hear their parent's message of love whenever they are in need. Meals, lodging and entertainment, along with dedicated programming for adults and children are offered at no cost to the family.
Carlos & Harley's is excited to contribute to this worthwhile cause by donating 10% of all sales to the Wolf Creek Foundation through a special event on Wednesday, September 21st. We look forward to having you help us support those that sacrifice so much for the freedoms we enjoy.
Even after the event Carlos and Harley's will continue to support the Wolf Creek Foundation by donating a portion of sales each quarter. You can offer continued support by purchasing a bear or simply eating an amazing meal prepared by Chef Luis.
Bears are available for purchase at Carlos and Harley's and qualify as a tax deductible donation.
